Performer

Susanne is an award winning, internationally recognized performer. Her comedic storytelling work has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, The Moth, HBO’s Inspiration Room and WGBH Stories from the Stage. Susanne was named “The Best of the Valley Voices” by New England Public’s Radio and the Academy of Music Theater in 2016 and 2022. In 2021, she received a Webby Award from the Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Susanne has been a featured performer in The Boston Woman in Comedy Festival and The SheDot Toronto Comedy Festival.

Speaker/Presenter

 Susanne’s experience as a licensed clinical mental health counselor and graduate professor, provides her listeners with a unique perspective on the healing power of stories. Her compelling and humorous presentations assist participants, staff, leadership teams, and board members to understand the neuroscience behind our stories and how to use the power of first-person narrative for good!

Susanne is an instructor in the MothWorks at The Moth that develops workshops and private events for leaders, colleagues, and communities to apply the craft of storytelling to build teams, inspire culture and elevate communication at work and beyond. Susanne is also teaching artist at The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, and collaborates with individuals, groups and organization to provide storytelling coaching.

Producer 

Susanne is the Regional StorySLAM producer for The Moth an a producer for GBH Stories from the Stage. She also produces events for organization across the country designed with the intention of promoting the ‘Power of Stories for Good.’

Using her experience as a storyteller, coach and teacher, Susanne produces individualized fundraising events, retreats and community celebrations designed with the intent of highlighting the mission and achievements unique to the organization.
